Randy & Carla Redmann

Home of the Good Shepherd, Brazil

Randy and Carla are continuing the 45 year work of “Home of the Good Shepherd” founded in 1971 by their parents Rev. Kurt and Gudrun Redmann. They are serving the country by helping children at risk, and serving the community through weekly services at “A Rocha - The Rock - Jesus” Family Community Center.

Since its inception, the Home has cared for and provided skills training to hundreds of youth in order to prepare them for independent living. It provides a safe haven for children and toddlers as young as the age of two, who are brought to the Home by the local Judicial Social Service Department. Once within its protective arms, the nurturing’ love, and care in the home addresses the specific needs of each child and helps to make their individual experiences of abuse, abandonment, neglect, or being orphaned a distant memory.

They believe that God will continue to change the hearts and future of children, from infants to 18 years of age, who are placed in their care when they were rescued from situations of abandonment, abuse, rejection, gang activities, drug addictions and sexual exploitation. They invest in today's generation in the most violent country in the world towards adolescents.

Follow their Facebook page to keep up to date in how God is impacting lives.
